ถ้าดูจากตารางคะแนนในตอนนี้ทีมที่น่าจะผ่านเข้ารอบสุดท้ายแน่นอนแล้วได้แก่ 1. Brazil 2. Russia 3. Italy 4. China (เจ้าภาพ) ส่วนอีกสองที่ว่างคงจะขับเคี่ยวกันอย่างสนุกในสัปดาห์สุดท้ายระหว่าง Cuba USA Japan Poland และ Netherlands
ในสายของ China Cuba USA และ Netherlands นั้นตามฟอร์มแล้ว China ดีที่สุด USA คงจะเข้าที่สองของกลุ่มที่แข่งที่มาเก๊า (จีนคงเข้าที่หนึ่ง) ส่วน Cuba และ Netherlands คงต้องแย่งกันเข้าที่สามเพื่อลุ้นนับคะแนน และคงต้องเล่นเกมยาวแน่นอน เกมที่ไชน่าโอเพ่นเมื่อเดือนพฤษภาคม Netherlands ชนะไป 3-2 ถ้าผลคือ 1. China 2. USA 3. Cuba 4. Netherlands คงจะต้องมาดูผลการแข่งขันที่อีกกลุ่มคือ Russia Japan Poland Kazakhstan สายนี้ดูเผินๆ Russia น่าจะเข้าวิน !! Poland (ที่ได้ผู้เล่นชุดแชมป์ยุโรปกลับมาร่วมทีมเกือบครบชุด) นั้นในเกมหลังๆนี้ฟอร์มน่ากลัวมากๆล้มมาทั้งจีนทั้งอิตาลี่ เชื่อว่าคงจะยากมากที่ญี่ปุ่นจะเอาชนะได้ นอกจากญี่ปุ่นจะท็อปฟอร์มจริงๆ ผลของสายนี้จึงน่าจะเป็น 1. ถ้าผลการแข่งขันออกมาแบบนี้ ดังนั้นทีมที่น่าจะผ่านเข้ารอบสุดท้ายได้แก่

Looking quickly at the present standings, 6 teams to be qualified for the final round in China obviously are Brazil, Russia, Italy, China (host) plus two of the five-possible teams (Cuba USA Japan Poland and Netherlands). Cuba and USA stand in a better chance than the Japanese or the Dutch. However, Poland with a spectacular form in recent matches could not be overlooked.
In Macua, China USA Cuba and Netherlands will have to compete for the do-or-die matches as every team wants to win. China seems to be a strongest team and USA is expected to show a terrific result with eventually finish a 2nd place. Cuba and the Netherlands will finish 3rd and 4th place respectively.
The host Japan, Russia, Poland, and Kazakhstan will show down in Osaka. Russia is obviously a hard team to play and is expected to finish a first place. However, with the victory over Italy and the 2004 Olympics Champion: China, the Polish will be very tough for the opponent like the Japanese and Kazakhstan. The results in Osaka after the hard fought could be : 1. Russia 2. Poland 3. Japan 4. Kazakhstan.
